PRICING & PAYMENTS For Commissioned Paintings
Your journey begins with a complimentary 30-minute call where we’ll explore your ideas, timeframe, and the space where the painting will live. We’ll also cover logistics like shipping and any other details you’d like to discuss. It’s a chance to see if we’re a good fit to collaborate.
To start, a $500 non-refundable deposit secures your spot and covers our creative sessions and initial sketches. This amount goes toward your final total. If you choose not to move forward after sketches, your deposit can be credited toward anything else in my shop.
Once sketches are approved, I’ll request 30%–50% of the project total to begin sourcing materials. The remaining balance can be paid in full upon completion or in installments during the painting process.
Pricing starts at $2500, and varies depending on size, materials, and intricacy. The smallest size I offer is 24 x 30 inches, with an estimated rate of $3 per square inch. Large amounts of genuine 24k gold may increase that. My hourly rate is $150.

THE COMMISSION PROCESS
GETTING STARTED
After our initial call, we’ll meet either in person or virtually for a deeper session (or sessions) to clarify the vision—practical needs, emotional intent, spatial considerations, and artistic energy all come into play. These usually last 45–60 minutes and help ensure we’re aligned on all levels.
SKETCHES
Next, I’ll prepare one or more sketches to capture your concept. You’ll receive them via email and can request up to three revisions. These previews offer a sense of color and form, though the final painting may evolve organically from there.
IMPLEMENTATION
From this point, I begin the creation process. The timeline depends on the size and complexity of your piece, but you’ll receive updates along the way, with glimpses of your painting as it unfolds. Whether it takes a few weeks or a few months, know that each stage is approached with focus and reverence.
TRANSPORT
When your painting is ready to find its home, we’ll coordinate for pickup, delivery, or shipping. Shipping costs are additional and vary depending on the painting’s size—I’ll provide a quote to help you plan.
LICENSING
As the artist, I retain rights to reproduce and sell prints of the piece unless we’ve made other arrangements. If exclusive rights are something you’re interested in, just let me know and we can explore options together.
